Overview
The Nurse Manager oversees a 32-bed skilled nursing neighborhood, leading a multidisciplinary team of 35–40 staff members including nurses, CNAs, unit clerks, dining staff, and social workers. This is a hands-on leadership role supporting clinical excellence, team development, and a resident-first approach to care.
The right candidate will bring strong supervisory experience, a collaborative mindset, and a genuine desire to work with older adults. Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership for a 32-bed skilled nursing neighborhood
Develop, implement, and maintain nursing standards, policies, and resident care plans
Support staff, residents, and families to ensure a high-quality experience
Assist the Director of Nursing as needed in oversight and operations
Uphold compliance with SNF regulatory requirements
Foster a culture rooted in hospitality, professionalism, and teamwork
Coach, mentor, and support nursing staff to ensure strong performance and engagement
What You Need to Bring
Active RN license (required)
3+ years of supervisory experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred
Strong clinical assessment skills and a resident-centered approach
Ability to learn quickly, adapt, and implement new practices
Comfort managing teams and leading through influence and collaboration
A sincere passion for working with older adults and supporting those with limited self-care capacity
Basic computer proficiency; ability to learn role-specific software
Ability to meet state-required background and fingerprint standards
