Spartan Capital Group has partnered with our client, a certified public accounting and consulting firm, is seeking an experienced Accounting & Advisory Analyst! The Analyst will provide accounting, tax, and advisory services to small business clients. This position reports directly to the Partners. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities:
Gathering and organizing accounting and tax data.
Working with accounting systems.
Establishing charts of accounts and entering transactions
Working on accounting records, financial statements, and other data to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
Rolling forecasts
Preparation of tax plans, projections and returns for businesses and business owners.
Analyzing business operations, trends, financial commitments, and obligations to project financial results and provide advice.
Surveying client operations to assess accounting, treasury and technology needs and recommending and/or developing solutions for business issues and opportunities.
Reporting to client executive leadership on their business and financial position.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
CPA Preferred
3+ years of accounting experience
Public accounting experience highly preferred
Strong communication skills
