Spartan Capital Group has partnered with a healthcare company located in Southfield, MI, looking to hire an HR Manager. This person will be responsible for oversight and performance of day-to-day HR duties on a professional level and will work closely with the Chief Administrative Officer to identify functions and processes needing improvement.
Responsibilities:
Partner with managers to provide solutions, establish new policies, educate and grow the team
Creative approach in recruitment ensuring applicant pool will meet the required needs for staffing during current times of candidate shortage.
Collaboration with management on best practices for inclusive interview process and performance management
Manage the Leave Administrative and provide expert advice based on FMLA/OFLA/ADA
Solution orientated to maintain a low turnover rate and provide expert advice.
Oversee payroll and provide solutions as needed
Confident with HR laws and best practices
Processes injury reports and corresponds with worker’s compensation carrier when necessary.
Presents benefit information, including 401k, to employees and processes enrollments
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
Ten years of Human Resources experience
Three years of HR Manager/Supervisor experience required
