Spartan Strategies has partnered with our rapidly growing Event Management client located in the greater Nashville, TN area with an exclusive confidential search for a dynamic Production Manager/Technical Director.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Working with a variety of vendors, reviewing bids, negotiating pricing and contracts, defining statement of work
• Manages all aspects of technical direction of a production
• Oversees hiring and supervision of all technical staff to include lighting, sound, stage, etc
• Drafting and revising drawings as directed
• Point person with all communication with vendors and venues
• Provides weekly updates to leadership
• Addresses all issues in a timely and professional manner

What you will need to be successful:

• Minimum of 5 years’ production management experience with corporate or entertainment events
• Experience working with CAD/Vectorworks technology is a must
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure with multiple events at one time
• Strong organizational skills, time management skills and attention to detail
• Strong teamwork and team synergy skills
• Excellent computer and technical skills
• Availability and willingness to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, holidays and on call as necessary
