We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing sales within the Houston, Louisiana, and Arkansas territories. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and execute sales strategies, identify new business opportunities, and increase market share.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow sales within assigned territories by identifying new business opportunities, developing and executing sales strategies, and increasing market share.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing customers and develop new relationships with potential customers.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager to develop and implement sales programs and initiatives that align with company objectives and goals.
  • Provide product information and technical support to customers, and work closely with the product management team to ensure product knowledge is up to date.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and developments, and provide insights and recommendations to the sales team and management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, including customer interactions, sales calls, and pipeline development.
  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote the company and its products.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of sales experience in the attachment industry, with knowledge of the material handling business and product flow.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills, with a track record of exceeding sales targets and growing market share.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of self-motivation and initiative.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends to develop sales strategies and initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within assigned territories, and occasionally outside of assigned territories.
