RESPONSIBILITIES:

Creating Quality Products and Driving Business Performance.
Creating and Coaching Individual Players down a roadmap for professional development.
Cooperatively leading the development of quality, coding, and documentation standards.
Train, motivate, and coach employees to ensure that standards are met.
Lead standup meetings.
Identify and remove roadblocks in the development process.
Work with the Product/Project Manager to understand dependencies and work on scheduling.
Work with Product/Project Manager to monitor progress and report project status to stakeholders.
Formulate strategies to increase productivity.
Review processes in order to ensure that they align with current trends.
Architect Solutions and/or work with an outsourced architect to design solutions.
Own responsibility for adhering to the project design and confirming that builds are to specifications.
Staying on top of industry best practices in software development and data analytics.

REQUIREMENTS:

8+ years of total experience in the software development industry
2 years of experience as an Engineering Manager
Strong working knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, Python, Vue.js, SQL, and NoSQL Databases.
Experience with event-driven microservice architectures.
Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)
A desire to help others achieve their best.
Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s with experience in the field OR equivalent experience.
