Spartan Strategies, the executive search division of Spartan Capital Group, a nationwide professional recruiting firm, is excited to be partnering with a leader in the business coaching industry to identify a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of their Coaching Division and to drive its continued growth and success.
Reporting to the Vice President of Coaching, the General Manager will ensure his/her team will have the tools and resources necessary to meet and exceed performance goals in addition to providing support for personal and professional growth.
The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and will excel at developing relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally. They will be a catalyst for change while honoring the company’s values and history.
Key Responsibilities (not all inclusive):
Direct oversight of the Coaching Leadership Team; working together to set the coaching program objectives for a team of over 70 coaches across the United States.
Analyzes performance metrics for the entire coaching division and makes data driven decisions to improve the effectiveness and profitability of the business.
Drives operational efficiency and effectiveness to ensure smooth delivery of coaching services and exceptional client experiences.
Identifies market trends and competitive landscape and provides insights and recommendations.
Collaborates with business leaders in developing and implementing new coaching products and services that meet the needs of clients and support the growth of the business.
Works closely with cross-functional teams, such as sales and marketing, to develop and execute effective strategies for client acquisition and retention.
A minimum of 7 years in a business leadership role with an emphasis on continuous improvement, operations, and customer service.
Experience in the professional services or coaching industry is desirable.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or a combination of recent, relevant experience and education.
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve outstanding results.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing growth strategies, expanding client base and driving revenue growth.
Ability to travel to home office (if not local) and events as business dictates.
