Our client, a mission driven non-profit is seeking an experienced Grant Accounting Manager! The Grant Accounting Manager will report to the Controller and will have the opportunity to grow into a Director role with the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience in non-profit with a minimum of 5+ years of grant accounting experience.
The Grant Accounting Manager will work under the general direction of the Controller, and they will manage processes for governmental contract and grant renewal, budgeting, reporting and compliance.
Manage processes for government contract and grant management
Track, monitor, and report on contract and grant performance
Manage portfolio of grants through vouchering and recording revenue in the GL
Manage and mentor grants accounting team of 3 staff
Review budget to actual for contracts
Review and analyze financial statements on contracts and grants
Complete monthly and quarterly financial reports for assigned grant-funded programs
Collaborates with program managers
Bachelor’s Degree required
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in grant accounting
Excellent analytical, oral and written communication and customer service skills.
Great Plains experience a plus
Ability to organize, direct, prioritize, and delegate work appropriately.
