Job Responsibilities
- Assists with tasks related to payroll processing to include calculating and processing mileage reports, data entry, scanning, filing, etc.
- Assists with recruiting quality candidates to fill open positions as needed
- Initiate background check processing for selected candidates
- Facilitates on-boarding of new hires
- Creates, tracks and, sends employee-related company announcements
- Provides back-up for Office Coordinator functions as needed
- Enters HR-related invoices
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1-3 years of human resources experience. Multi-state, multi-site experience preferred.
- Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, Kronos WFR and/or Paychex is a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service focus
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, and follow-through skills
- Ability to multitask and be a team player in a fast-paced environment
