Job Responsibilities

  • Assists with tasks related to payroll processing to include calculating and processing mileage reports, data entry, scanning, filing, etc.
  • Assists with recruiting quality candidates to fill open positions as needed
  • Initiate background check processing for selected candidates
  • Facilitates on-boarding of new hires
  • Creates, tracks and, sends employee-related company announcements
  • Provides back-up for Office Coordinator functions as needed
  • Enters HR-related invoices
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned


  • Minimum 1-3 years of human resources experience. Multi-state, multi-site experience preferred.
  • Degree in Business, Human Resources or related field, preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems, Kronos WFR and/or Paychex is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer service focus
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational, time management, and follow-through skills
  • Ability to multitask and be a team player in a fast-paced environment
