We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to oversee the financial and administrative operations of our manufacturing facility. This role has a strong focus on accounting responsibilities, including managing the general ledger, month-end and year-end processes, and day-to-day financial tasks. As part of a small team, you’ll also handle office management responsibilities to ensure smooth daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Accounting and Financial Management:
    • Manage daily general ledger activities, including reconciliations and journal entries.
    • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
    • Handle accounts payable and receivable, including invoice approvals and payment schedules.
    • Prepare budgets, financial reports, and analyses to support leadership.
  • Office Operations:
    • Oversee procurement of office supplies and maintain vendor relationships.
    • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations by addressing administrative and operational needs.
  • Executive Support:
    • Provide direct administrative support to leadership, including scheduling, correspondence, and meeting preparation.
    • Assist in preparing reports and documentation for strategic decision-making.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or office management roles.
    • Proven expertise in managing financial processes, including general ledger and reporting.
  • Skills:
    • Strong proficiency in accounting software and systems, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
    • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
    • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Attributes:
    • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
    • Adaptable and resourceful, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field is a plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing environments is beneficial.
