We are currently seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to join our team. The Purchasing Specialist will be responsible for managing the company's purchasing activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services required for project completion.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement purchasing policies, procedures, and strategies to optimize the procurement process.

• Evaluate supplier bids and proposals to determine the best value.

• Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and favorable terms and conditions.

• Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to understand their purchasing requirements and coordinate the procurement of materials and services.

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality goods and services.

• Track and analyze purchasing data to identify cost savings opportunities and optimize supplier performance.

• Manage inventory levels to ensure the availability of materials and supplies required for ongoing projects.

• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field a plus.

• 3+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement, preferably in the construction or electrical industry.

• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships with suppliers.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize supplier performance.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience using purchasing software and tools.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
