As a Quality Inspector reporting to the Quality Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing overall product quality and supporting the quality management system. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting meticulous inspections and testing of products, managing non-conforming materials, and spearheading continuous improvement initiatives. With a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication abilities, you will contribute to upholding our client's reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections and testing of products
Identify and handle non-compliant parts promptly and efficiently.
Accurately mark, locate, and segregate materials based on acceptance or rejection criteria.
Ensure proper disposition of non-conforming material from production.
Maintain meticulous documentation of all quality-related processes
Facilitate proactive communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders
Undertake additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum of two years of experience in quality-related roles.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
Effective communication abilities.
Proficiency in interpreting engineering drawings.
Familiarity with inspection tools and instruments (e.g., calipers, gauges, micrometers).
Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Experience with ERP systems or similar software.
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the assembly of multi-component equipment, is advantageous.
