Manufacturing | Multi-Site Responsibility (Midwest & Mexico)
We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing organization to identify a hands-on Quality Manager to lead site-level quality operations. This is a highly visible leadership role reporting directly to the Plant Manager, with responsibility for both people leadership and day-to-day quality execution.
The organization is seeking a leader who can balance shop-floor presence with strategic quality leadership—someone who is comfortable rolling up their sleeves while also engaging confidently with senior leadership, customers, and suppliers.
Lead the plant Quality function, managing:
2 Senior Quality Engineers
Up to 4 Quality Technicians
Drive real-time problem solving and root cause analysis using structured, data-driven methodologies
Maintain a strong, consistent presence on the manufacturing floor (this is not an office-bound role)
Interface regularly with Corporate Quality, Plant Leadership, customers, and suppliers
Lead continuous improvement initiatives with a strong zero-defect mindset
Support audits, customer issues, supplier quality, and cross-site quality alignment
Travel up to 25% to other facilities, suppliers, and customer locations (MI, IN, MX)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
(Business degree acceptable with significant quality leadership experience)
Proven experience leading quality teams in a manufacturing environment
Strong background in:
Root cause analysis
Six Sigma / structured problem-solving tools
Data-driven decision making
A leadership style that blends:

Calm, confident interpersonal presence
The ability to coach, mentor, and develop others
Self-starter mentality with the ability to drive results without micromanagement

Base Salary: $115,000 – $140,000
Annual Bonus: 18% target
