Sales Manager - Franklin, TN - Event Management Industry - (Hybrid)

 

Spartan Strategies has partnered with our rapidly growing Event Management client located in the greater Nashville, TN area with an exclusive confidential search for a dynamic Sales Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identify new client leads and prospects in the events space

  • Strategically plan and achieve annual sales goals

  • Develop plans to target areas for growth and generate new sources of revenue

  • Lead ongoing relationships with existing customers and business partners in the assigned region

  • Attend trade shows and conventions to promote the company brand

  • Collaborate with leader to enhance the sales process and generate innovative ideas that can be adopted by the entire sales team

  • Work with internal teams to develop events designed to target new customers

 What you will need to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in B2B sales; preferably in the hospitality, convention bureau or events industries

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills

  • Proven success of providing a high level of customer service during the sales process and throughout the client partnership

  • Excels at generating leads

  • Exceptional at targeting opportunities for growth

  • Technologically savvy - well versed in CRM software management
