Spartan Capital Group has partnered with a half-billion dollar company in their search for a Sr. AR Specialist. This is a full-time, direct-hire, 100% onsite position paying up to $70k commensurate with experience. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience processing approximately 1,000 invoices on a monthly basis, leading the AR functions, and payroll processing is preferred.

 

This is an in-office position, Monday through Friday

 

Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of accounts receivable, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining financial accuracy. Specific responsibilities include:

  • Leading the accounts receivable operations, including invoicing, collections, and managing payment processes.
  • Collaborating closely with departments such as sales, finance, and customer service to address and resolve billing issues or disputes.
  • Monitoring customer accounts, identifying discrepancies, and providing solutions promptly.
  • Managing payment processing across multiple methods (credit card, check, ACH, etc.).
  • Evaluating and approving credit applications for both new and existing clients.
  • Overseeing collections, following up on outstanding balances, and escalating collection efforts as necessary.
  • Implementing and optimizing processes for efficiency and compliance with company and industry standards.

 

Required Experience and Skills:

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience managing accounts receivable or working in a similar capacity.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting standards and financial procedures.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to resolve complex issues.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to precision.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage with clients and internal teams effectively.
