Vice President of Sales - Virginia - Health & Wellness
Spartan Strategies is one of the nation's premier executive search firms and has partnered with one of the world's leading health and wellness companies to help identify their next Vice President of Sales. This is a remote position with the requirement to travel to the home office near Roanoke, VA as needed.
The ideal candidate will possess the following traits and qualifications:
Minimum of five years in a senior sales leadership role; experience within the healthcare/wellness/medical device/physical therapy industries are strongly preferred
Proven track record of success in driving revenue and meeting (and achieving) aggressive sales goals
Exceptional communication and leadership skills - the capacity to motivate and inspire a team to achieve tangible goals
A growth mindset both professionally and personally
A quick learner with a demonstrated knowledge of business systems and financials; ERP (netsuite) preferred
Responsible for the growth, training, development and overall performance of a team of inside/outside sales teams. Approximately 9 Direct Reports and growing!
Partner with the senior leadership team to ensure sales strategies and compensation plans are in alignment with short term and long-term business objectives
Serve as the subject matter expert on the relevant B2B markets
Oversee the development of existing accounts in addition to identifying new business channels
An active member of the executive committee and leadership team
